You see I have a vision for you, that you can have a career and life that you love, and feel energised by. I run a practice that is dedicated to social work focusing on clinical supervision. I believe that supervision is dedicated to YOU and it’s my role to empower and facilitate insight, growth and support while providing all the clinical tools that you need to help you do your job!

I also have a counselling practice and I love working with adults and children specialising in quality intervention to support an individual’s growth.

Over my career I have specialised in trauma informed practice, working in sexual assault, domestic violence, child protection and in a lot of legal settings. I was fortunate enough to work as a specialist counsellor for the Royal Commission into Institutional Child Sexual Assault, which had a profound impact on the way that I now practice.

Over the last 15 years my career has allowed experience in both severity and variety, from high profile murder matters to international child sexual assault crimes and back to remote community intervention.

I have a range of clinical tools and modalities which I utilise and I read and listen widely to grow even more in my own practice to deliver a service that is heart centred and clinically sound for the people I am lucky enough to work with. My practice is embedded in my social work values but I’m unique in my approach.

But let me take you back a few steps, because the truth is, I haven’t always felt confident in my career. There have certainly been times where being a social worker has left me feeling irritated, overwhelmed and confused. Where the professional overlapped the personal. It wasn’t fun! And at times it made me question my career choice and doubt myself. Am I really cut out for this I would say. Am I doing this right?

But what always kept me on course is supervision and mentoring.

My irritation shifted to GRATITUDE.

My overwhelm became ACTION.

And my confusion turned into CLARITY.

Supervision always left me feeling a sense of control and excitement again, oh yeah I can do this!
