Resources for Social Workers in Private Practice
My journey into Private Practice
I didn’t begin private practice with a big business plan.
I began because I wanted more freedom, more flexibility, and honestly… more time to surf.
After years working across child protection, sexual assault services, trauma therapy and mental health, I found myself wanting a way of working that felt more aligned.
Truthfully, there were moments I questioned whether I was good enough to start a private practice at all.
But over time, private practice became a space where I could bring more of myself into the work - not just my clinical experience, but also my values, intuition, spirituality, creativity, and the way I genuinely want to work with people.
This page is a collection of resources I wish I’d had at various stages along the way - practical tools, honest guidance, and support for social workers at different stages of the private practice journey.

It’s a more personal space - where I’m willing to share the real stuff, and where you’ll get first access to the good things (and freebies).
