2026 Unlocked: A quieter way to plan the year ahead

A Gentle Approach to Planning Your Year in 2026

There is something about the turn of a year that invites reflection, whether we plan for it or not.

Sometimes it shows up as excitement.
Sometimes as exhaustion.
Often as a quiet sense that something needs to change, even if we cannot yet name what that is.

As we move into 2026, this is an opportunity to pause and choose how you want to move forward, not from pressure, but from intention.

Planning does not have to feel heavy

For many of us, goal setting has been tangled up with unrealistic expectations, all-or-nothing thinking, or the belief that we should already know exactly where we are heading.

I do not believe planning your year needs to feel like that.

Over time, I have learned that the most meaningful plans are not built from force or urgency. They are built from honesty. From taking stock of where you are right now and giving yourself permission to imagine what could feel better, lighter, more aligned.

That is the foundation of the process I return to each year.

Why reflection matters before action

Before we rush into setting goals for 2026, it is worth gently acknowledging what 2025 has held for you.

What did you carry?
What stretched you?
What are you proud of, even if no one else saw it?

Reflection is not about judging yourself or labelling a year as good or bad. It is about understanding yourself more clearly so that the choices you make next are grounded and intentional.

When we skip this step, we often recreate the same patterns with new dates attached to them.

Introducing the 2026 Unlocked Workbook

To support this process, I have created 2026 Unlocked: Your Yearly Plan Workbook.

It is a simple, thoughtful guide designed to help you:

  • reflect on the year that has been with compassion

  • clarify what matters most to you now

  • set goals that feel realistic and meaningful

  • create action steps that support you throughout the year, not just in January

This is not a rigid planner or a productivity system. It is something you can return to again and again as the year unfolds.

Many people tell me it becomes a touchstone, something they revisit when they feel unsure, overwhelmed, or ready to realign.

Bringing your plan to life

If you would like extra support, I will also be hosting a free live workshop designed to complement the workbook.

Once you have completed it, the workshop is a space to:

  • refine your goals

  • ask questions

  • gain clarity around anything that still feels uncertain

  • reconnect with your intentions in a supportive, grounded environment

There is no pressure to have everything worked out. The focus is simply on helping your plan feel like it truly fits you.

A final thought

You do not need to overhaul your entire life in 2026.
You do not need perfect clarity before you begin.

You only need a starting point and a willingness to be honest with yourself.

I hope this workbook supports you to step into the year ahead with more ease, confidence and self-trust.
