Your specialised insight, support and interventions can help empower a person's healing. Often a lack of specialised strategies, trauma awareness and insight into the nuances of sexual assault means clients take the long journey alone to heal - leading them down paths that don't help. See Carly's journey below. A powerful reminder of how we can change the trajectory for people just like Carly.
Come join Trauma Therapist Cherie Gillett, (AMHSW) in beautiful Port Macquarie, NSW for a full day of learning and connection.
Explore the dynamics and tactics of perpetrators and how specifically they impact a sense of self, health, relationships, intimacy, emotions and development. Together we'll explore the journey for a survivor and what specialised strategies and support you can use. We will invite greater clarity on the impacts and how shame, blame, guilt, anger and grief can bring challenges to our interventions. We will explore what is needed to bring change and healing.
